Located on the mezzanine level of First Canadian Place, Vertical features two private rooms in addition to the main dining room as well as a separate bar|lounge. The mezzanine patio & lounge overlooks the parkette and waterfall facing King Street.
Chef Giacomo Pasquini's seasonal menu is inspired by the diverse regions of Italy with a focus on simplicity, freshness and local ingredients.
Whole fish, fresh handmade pasta and naturally-raised Ontario beef are specialties of the kitchen. The menus have been endorsed by Ocean Wise for the sustainable seafood offerings.
The extensive wine list is focused mainly on the unique wines of Italy, complemented by New World selections including many from Canada. Vertical has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence each year since 2007.
